Objective of course

Give the basics of statistics and practical examples of the use of statistical principles in Mechanical Engineering

Course Learning Output

Data analysis be able can use statistical methods and do the calculations, present and interpret the data with statistical methods.

Course Contents

Basic concepts in statistics, the programs used in the package, presenting the data: frequency tables, charts, evaluation of the observations, the characteristic values in the representation of the account, meaning, the theoretical distributions. Calculation of parameters, estimation. Mixture of distributions, theoretical distributions of conformity. Statistical dependency, regression, correlation. Hypotheses and theses.
