Objective of course

The basic principle of drying and drying mechanisms learning, drying applications and hardware with the related industrial knowledge and accumulation, as well as the basic heat and mass balance equations to design using the drying process.

Drying mechanisms and models understanding and be able to apply.

Course Contents

The basic concepts of drying. Classification, selection, basic process accounts. Material properties. Various types of dryers. Various industrial applications. Drying energy and cost analysis. The safety of industrial dryers. Industrial drying applications and hardware related to the accumulation of knowledge and the basic heat and mass balance equations as well as the ability to design using the drying process.
