Objective of the Course

The objective is to study the language of engineering graphics in order to write it clearly for those familiar with it and read it readily when written by another. To do this, one must know the theory and be familiar with its accepted conventions.

Course Contents

Geometrical constructions. Orthographic drawing and sketching. Introduction to computer aided drawing. Three dimensional drawings. Dimensioning principles. Sectioning and conventions.
