Objective of the Course

Inroduction of transport machines and their elements, calculating and projecting as introduction to several technical courses from different engineering disciplines.

Course Contents

General principles of transport machinery. Classification of transfer systems. Simple elevating machines, cranes, elevators. Types and mechanisms of driver systems. General calculation principles for power requirement. Cables, reels, pulleys, drums. Types of drums and hoists load holding elements. Wheels, rails and brake systems.

 4) Driven in transport machines: Manually driven, driven by hydraulic.

 5) Driven in transport machines: Driven by hydraulic.

 6) Driven in transport machines: Driven by electrical motors, driven by internal combustion engines.
