Objective of the Course

:

New student know subjects about mechanical engineering and they learn work zone of mechanical engineering, like mechanical engineering at the end of this course.

Course Contents

:

General information about energy, work and force machine. Standards, technics terms, short explanation about technics terms, short explanation about material. Introduce to machine and design elements, example about principle of work some machines. Introduce laboratory of department.

1. Short introduce about engineer, machine and mechanical engineering.

2. Standards, importance, need.

3.General knowledge about energy and work machines:

   Energy machines;

    Hydraulic and pneumatic motors, electric motors, nuclear motors.

4. Internal combustion engine, external combustion engine.

5. General knowledge about energy and work machines:

  Work machines;

    Machines which work by hand, machines which work by motor.

6. Machines which work by motor;

  Machine tools, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic engines, compressors, aspirator and ventilators, lifts and transport machine. Computers.

7.Midterm exam.

8.Definition some machine and design’s elements:

  Join elements;

    Vedges, pins, screws (bolt, nut, stud bolt)

9. Rivets join with welt, join with solder.

10. Definition some machine and design’s elements:

   Motion transmit elements;

     Miles, bearings, concepts, hoops, thongs and cables.

11. Wheek with friction, Wheek with gear.

  Lubricant and kind of lubricant. Viscosity. Seals and gaskets.
