Objective of the Course |
To
teach basic knowledge of deformation mechanisms, dislocation theory,
strengthening mechanisms, fatigue, creep, fracture and damping
characteristics of materials. |
Course Contents |
Elastic deformation. Deformation mechanisms and
deformation energy. Yielding criteria. Dislocation theory. Strengthening
mechanismsms. Fatigue. Creep. Fracture. Anelasticity and damping
characteristics of materials. |
